Caldy RFC Community Rugby Round Up for 2022

Thanks to YOU – Caldy RFC Community Rugby now has over 500 affiliated players aged between 5 – 18!

We now have girls playing rugby across every Mini age grade plus 32 girls playing Junior rugby too!

Many thanks to all our players, parents, supporters, managers, coaches, referees, officials, first aiders, physios, committee officers & members, clubhouse staff, caterers & bar staff for all your dedication, time & efforts throughout the year.

A special thanks to all the Senior section & the Last of the Summer Wine grounds team for all your hard work behind the scenes.

Great to see four of our Caldy RFC u16s players representing Cheshire against Lancashire in two matches last Tuesday, 20 December.
At MMU – Leo & Anthony helped Cheshire to a 28 – 24 win !
At Sandbach – Tom & Finn helped Cheshire to a 27 – 19 win !
A great start to the County campaign with more matches against Yorkshire & Northumberland in the New Year.

Also, congratulations to five of our Caldy RFC Senior Colts players who were selected for the Cheshire u18s squad v Yorkshire & winning 20 – 19 away at Billingham.

Next up local derby v Lancashire at Lymm on Sunday 8 January 2023.
