That Friday Feeling – 15th December 2023

After a barren few weeks for the 1st xv, the Ravers are in action tomorrow away at good friends Ampthill in what is sure to be a tough test. Last season’s Championship fixture between the sides at Dillingham Park ended in a 26-24 loss for the Ravers after a strong opening half had seen Caldy seemingly in control of the match only to be thwarted by a second half resurgence by the Mob.

This season Ampthill have recorded good wins against Coventry, Cambridge and London Scottish and will be looking to continue their winning home sequence against Caldy in their penultimate home fixture before Christmas. A generous gesture by the Ampthill committee provides free entry to the match for all spectators who obtain advance tickets for the match from the Ampthill website https://www.ampthillrufc.com/ before 10 pm on Friday 15th December.
