Caldy RFC Supports Feeding Liverpool

Throughout December, lots of our members will be looking forward to being out and about celebrating Christmas with family, friends and work colleagues. As well as having a great time, these parties arean opportunity to help those who are struggling to put food on the table and certainly won’t be celebrating Christmas in a way that many of us are able to enjoy.

Feeding Liverpool, the city of Liverpool’s food alliance, estimate that 132,000 people in Merseyside are having to access emergency food to feed themselves and their family. That’s 9% of our community, for context, if they were to hold hands, the line would stretch all the way from Liverpool to Birmingham.

As well as being great fun, your Christmas party can help them. When it comes to splitting the bill, consider adding an additional amount, no matter how small, and donate to Feeding Liverpool’s Just Giving page.
