Fond Farewell

We would like to wish Fly-Half, Ezra Hinchcliffe all the best as he returns “Home” to Yorkshire next season. He is returning to play for Heath in Regional One North East after two amazing seasons with us. He amassed 41 appearances for the ‘Ravers’, playing 2,684 minutes and scoring 52 points. He was part of the Championship winning National 1 side, where he was a stalwart at Fly-Half after coming into the team after 6 games and also played a huge part in this season’s Championship survival.

Ezra shared a few words with us on his departure, “It has been a pleasure to be a part of Caldy. It is a spectacular club, both in sport and people. I have learnt that I knew nothing about rugby before playing on Paton Field. It has been an honour to play in the last two seasons, with people I never thought was possible, breaking any goal or expectation I had before moving to Liverpool – for that I will be forever grateful!

‘Talking heads – this will be the place’ will forever remind me of preparing to fight for Caldy”.

Thank you for the memories Ez! Good luck in the future. Once a Raver, always a Raver.
