Caldy – That Friday Feeling 8th May ’26

, , , ,

Tomorrow Caldy’s 1st xv squad head to the capital to take on London Scottish at the Richmond Athletic Ground. This is the last fixture for the Ravers in the 2025/26 Champ season and for Lewis Barker and Mike Barlow their last game before they retire. The Welsh Wizard starts at stand off and together with fellow retiree and the rest of the Ravers squad he will be keen to sign off with a win to take the season tally into double figures.

The Caldy squad will be pleased to have secured their position in the Champ for the 26/27 season even if they didn’t make it into the top 6 playoff games. The conveyor belt from Sooty and CJ’s 2nd xv has produced a number of exciting talents that will doubtless be featuring prominently in next season’s Ravers’ squads with six appearing against Scottish tomorrow.

The Ravers will live up to their reputation by staying in London after the game to quietly review and discuss the highlights of this past season. It could be emotional !
