Girls u12s Rugby coming to Caldy RFC this Sunday 8th March
This coming Sunday and if a full morning of community rugby followed by the colts playing in the afternoon is not enough rugby for one day, Caldy RFC and Paton Field will also be hosting the Northern Girls u12s Network which will see around 80 girls from clubs across the Northwest playing a number of matches on pitch 2 & 3 between 12.30 and 2.00 pm.
Three Caldy junior girls who have progressed from the mini and junior pathway (Alex, Lyla and Izzy) will be playing alongside another nine girls from local clubs as Sirens u12s and are continuing the pathway towards senior rugby in true Caldy tradition and role models promoting girls rugby.
If you have some spare time following on from your morning rugby games and before the colts game, please come over to watch the games and support the girls. They would really appreciate your support. Please also encourage where possible other girls to get In touch and join the Caldy Girls Rugby section.
The girls u12 coaches Mike, James and Laura will be pitchside to answer any questions and offer advice to support girls interested in joining the section which is focussed on the age ranges u12, u14, u16 & u18.
Please come along and see just how good the girls section is and possibly a few future Red Roses in the making.
