Caldy – That Friday Feeling 18th April ’25

Today Friday 18 April the Ravers undertake the longest journey in English league rugby, Caldy to Penzance, to take on the Cornish Pirates. The length of the coach journey is in complete contrast to this episode of That Friday Feeling which on Good Friday is necessarily truncated in length and content.

Matt Cairns has selected the following squad for Saturday’s Championship fixture at the Mennaye in Penzance, against Cornish Pirates which kicks off at 2.30 pm.

  1. M Weatherby
  2. M Gallagher
  3. N Rushton
  4. F Stevenson
  5. J Sproston
  6. C Ridgway
  7. T Woodman
  8. J Dickinson
  9. D Hanson
  10. L Barker
  11.  W Robinson
  12.  M Barlow
  13.  C Wilkinson
  14.  C Hyde
  15.  M Kilcourse
  16.  O Hearn
  17.  M Rabbette
  18.  R Higginson
  19.  S Olyott
  20.  J Jones
  21. S Rogers
  22.  N Royle
  23.  J Mitchell

Wishing safe journeys to everyone who will be travelling down to Cornwall to support the Ravers & a special mention this weekend for our Caldy RFC President, Graham Armitage, who will be as ever taking charge of logistics for the 1st xv squad trip away for the Easter weekend.
