New signing Tom Akehurst

Wirral RFC superstar Tom Akehurst joins the Ravers for the 2025/26 Champ Rugby season.

Tom joins Caldy RFC after making 107 appearances for his boyhood club. We are delighted to announce his arrival.

Caldy RFC DoR, Gareth Davies gave us his thoughts on the signing of Tom:

“Tom is a local lad and we have been watching his progress over the past few years and he has developed with Wirral into a major force at Level 5. I am certain he can make a big impact at our level. He is very quick and quick of mind and is ambitious just like everyone in our squad. He has great service and is going to be an exciting addition to the squad. Tom strives to be as good as he possibly can be and hopefully we can help him achieve those goals.”
