Caldy 2nd xv delivered their best performance of the season so far resulting in an emphatic away win at Sale FC making it 9 out of 9 this season to remain unbeaten and top of the Premier League table leading second placed Preston Grasshoppers 2nd xv by 2 points. Caldy 2nd xv’s unbeaten record is now 131 games in all competitions since April 2019 – that must be a Guinness World Record for any league team sport ! Next up is a local derby against 3rd placed Chester 2nd xv who will be coming to Paton Field a week on Saturday 6th December.

Caldy 3rd xv got a well earned draw in an exciting game away at Port Sunlight. Caldy Rav3rs started strongly and raced into a 17-38 lead, including a quadruple of tries from Harri Williams, but Port Sunlight’s 1st xv fought back with three tries in the second half to draw the game. Caldy Rav3rs are sitting 8th in the table and still have two games in hand.


Five u18s Senior Colts players made the big step up to play for Caldy 3rd xv thanks to all the coaches, managers and parents who have supported their journey all the way from u6s mini rugby – a great achievement ! 

Next up for Caldy Rav3rs is 4th placed Birchfield, coached by Caldy legend Nick Royle, who will coming to Paton Field this Saturday.

Caldy u17s Junior Colts had a hard day at the office last Sunday against unbeaten, top of the league Chester. From 0-22 down at half time they kept fighting and put in a much stronger performance in the second half. Next up is an away trip to local rivals Wirral this Sunday.
