Caldy Senior Colts Win Halbro

Caldy RFC Senior Colts have won the Halbro Northwest Senior Colts League “A”, after overcoming a determined Penrith Senior Colts Team.

With one match remaining Caldy Senior Colts have secured the top spot in the Northwest Senior Colts League “A”, with a 7-17 win away at Penrith. A strong Cumbrian wind had a big influence on the match, blowing directly down the pitch. Caldy outscored Penrith by two tries to one, try scorers were Orson O’Rorke and Rob Waring, both tries being converted by Joe Cass who also added a penalty.

Caldy Senior Colts have won 12 from 13 matches to date, with their one remaining away against Stockport Senior Colts on the 11^th February with a kick-off at 2.00 pm.
