Notice is hereby given of the 98th Annual General Meeting of the senior and Community sections of Caldy Rugby Club to be held on Thursday 16th June at the Memorial Hall, Paton Field for the purpose of transacting the following business:
- To read the notice convening the Meeting.
- To approve the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting.
- To receive the Director of Rugby’s Report
- To receive the Chairman’s Report
- To elect Officers of the Senior and Community Sections for the season 2022-23
- To agree Subscriptions for the 2022-23 season
- Any other business
Please note that in accordance to the amended rules of the club approved at the AGM on 29th August there will now be two AGMs, Administration in June and Finance in September. This was necessary as the RFU required the accounts year end to be 30th June and it was felt that was too late to enable any new committee to plan for the coming season.
Nominations for Chair, Secretary and Treasurer will be posted on the club notice board. If any member wishes to be nominated for these posts, can they put in writing to Roger Flashman, Secretary 14 days before the meeting. Any matter which a member would like to be raised at the meeting needs to be put in writing to the Secretary.
In accordance with the amended rules, this AGM will only deal with Administrative matters, any financial details will be dealt with at the Financial AGM in September.
Only fully paid up members can attend the meetings and raise points of order.
