That Friday Feeling

It is Friday again and this weekend is the first home match for the Caldy first team against local rivals Chester.

Please note this match has been moved from Saturday afternoon to Sunday with kick off at 3 pm. The website date and time is wrong and out of the club’s control.

Caldy opened up their push for promotion with a fine four try victory at Hinckley last weekend with Nick Royle, Cameron Davies and Gavin Roberts all running in tries.

Last season’s North 2 runners-up Chester started the season with defeat away at Sheffield Tigers scoring a losing bonus point.

There are no fresh injury worries for the Ravers despite Jack Parker having suffered a broken toe last week.

The second team travel away to Preston Grasshoppers looking to build on last weekend’s impressive victory at Rossendale which saw Tom Cornnall scoring four tries and Tom Fletcher scoring a hat trick.

This match is being played on Saturday and for those who wish to travel up to Preston to support the players the address for Preston Grasshoppers is Lightfoot Green Lane, Preston PR4 0AP.

Please note that the club will be open on Saturday for the cricket match with sport on the big screen and cricket outside weather permitting.
